Crop Over is a 5 day yearly celebration marking the end of the sugar cane harvest, typically the first weekend of August. The festival dates back to 1700s and is not only a big party but also a celebration of Bajan history, culture and traditions. The festival includes traditional elements such as the ceremonial delivery of the last sugar canes and the crowning of the King and Queen of the Crop.
